Orpheum Theater

The Orpheum Theater was established in 1904 and was originally known as the Player's Theater. In the 1920s, the theater was converted into a movie theater and ran for three decades. In 1958, the venue was re-purposed for theatrical productions and reopened in 1959.
The venue premiered many Off-Broadway productions including Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's Little Shop of Horrors and Cole Porter's Anything Goes.
In the 1980s the venue underwent renovations and increased its capacity from 299 to 347, once it reopened again in 1994 it became the Orpheum Theater and is now owned by Liberty Theatres, Inc.
